We visited little Viktoria and her mother – a family affected by the attack on Kherson.
We spoke with the girl's mother. She also needs treatment and rehabilitation. Doctors are fighting for her health and doing everything possible to save her leg.
The family has a long road to recovery ahead, and we will be with them at every stage.
Little Viktoria's condition remains serious. But for all of us, it is a great victory – the girl has already been moved from intensive care to a regular ward.
A large team of specialists is fighting for her health: ophthalmologists, neurosurgeons, microsurgeons, intensive care specialists, rehabilitation specialists and other doctors who do everything possible every day to help Viktoria recover and return to a life where there will once again be room for childhood, peace and joy.
The worst thing Russia takes from our children is their childhood, their health and their ability to live fully. No child should have to go through such trials.
We have been supporting little Viktoria and her family since the first days. The girl's family is now under our care, temporarily living in the "Mother and Child" social space.
As soon as we learned about this story – before the family received any other help – we funded the first surgery and provided Viktoria with the necessary supplies for neurosurgical interventions. The girl has another stage of treatment ahead, and we continue to be there for her.
We are very grateful to our benefactors who supported this family from the very beginning. It is thanks to you that we were able to provide immediate help to the family when it was needed urgently.
Thanks to you, Viktoria survived. And today she has the opportunity to continue fighting for her life, health and recovery.
We will walk this path with Viktoria and her family until full recovery.
Because in such moments, it is very important to know that there are caring people nearby who are ready to support and do everything possible to help them recover.
