I wanted to start this post with the words: "After a week on the road…"
Then I thought: no, actually the whole summer – on the road.
Then I realized: what summer… Probably, the whole war we have been living on the road.
Between cities and hospitals. Between air alarms and attacks. Between urgent calls, surgeries, evacuations and endless "we must make it".
And when it seems there is no strength left, I know exactly the place where it returns.
I go to the hospital.
And I see the result.
For 20 years now, this is what inspires me the most. When you see a child whose life everyone fought for together. When after a difficult surgery the doctor says: "We have good results."
In such moments, fatigue disappears. And you understand that you have no right to stop.
Today I want to send you a big hello from our little Solomiia.
She is only a few months old, but since birth she has been fighting a serious brain diagnosis. During this time, she has already gone through complex treatment, surgeries, anxiety and a tremendous fight for life.
We went through this entire journey together with her mother. And you were with us.
And yesterday we heard from the doctors the words worth traveling hundreds of roads for: little Solomiia has excellent test results.
And we truly believe that very soon we will be able to share another piece of news – our girl's discharge home.
After everything we've been through.
After surgeries.
After the fight.
This is what gives us the strength to hit the road again.
And today – a huge THANK YOU.
To the doctors – for professionalism and daily work that saves children.
To every benefactor – for help when time was measured in hours.
To each of you – for support, faith, prayers and kind words.
This result is our common victory.
And when you look into these little eyes, you understand: all of this was not in vain.
Solomiia, just a little more – and we are waiting for you at home. Healthy. Next to your family.
