We met Anichka's mother when she was still pregnant, three years ago. At that time, she was living in a social centre for mothers with children and was preparing for childbirth.
For almost 20 years of activity of the NGO ‘ Mother and Child’ we know how important and necessary it is to support expectant mothers in such an exciting time for them. Then it was with the help of you, our dear ones, that we were able to provide pregnant mums with everything necessary for the first meeting with the baby. You handed over clothes for the baby, hygiene products for mother and child, a bathtub, a pram - literally everything that was needed for the baby and his mother. And then rushed with a real celebration to meet the newborn life! Such moments are unforgettable!
During our last visit to the social centre we congratulated Anichka and her mother Irina on her birthday. We wished them all the best for them and the most desirable thing for everyone - peace.
Years will pass. And someday mum will show her daughter these photos from 2019, tell her how many kind hearts supported them in difficult times.
