Friends, we have wonderful news – Yulia has been discharged home.
After a hard path of struggle, difficult decisions and several neurosurgical procedures – our little girl is finally with her loved ones.
Her journey was not easy.
Yulia was born with a severe brain injury, and for a long time doctors fought to give her a chance to live, see the world, grow and develop.
There were moments when hope seemed nearly gone…
But in this story, incredible strength won – the strength of medicine, humanity, love and our shared belief.
Today, Yulia has a modern programmable shunt that drains excess fluid from her brain.
Her condition is now stable, and doctors have given her the most important thing – a chance for the future.
Our gratitude to the doctors – for their professionalism, their hearts and their fight. We extend our deepest thanks to the team at the Children's Medicine Center – the Western Ukrainian Specialized Center. It is thanks to your knowledge, coordinated teamwork, sound decisions and tireless care that Yulia is home today. Special thanks to Mykhailo Lovha and the entire team of neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, neurologists and nurses – to everyone who was there during this difficult journey. You are the people who make miracles happen. Angels in white coats.
Heartfelt thanks to the amazing Alina, Tetiana and Serhii. Thank you for your constant support of the Emergency Fund, for your big hearts and your immediate response when it was urgently needed.
And also – to everyone who helped save Yulia: with reposts, prayers, kind words.
You gave her a chance. You gave her time. You gave her life.
Today Yulia is home.
Warmth, care, her mother’s embrace and a new chapter ahead.
This is a story about how together, we can do more than it seems.
Together – we are the strength that overcomes the impossible.
Thank you for being near.
Thank you for saving lives. Together we are a great heart!
