When a child needs urgent help, the most valuable thing we can have is time.
It is for such situations that the Charitable Organization "Mother and Child" has an Emergency Fund.
Children come to hospitals who need help not tomorrow or next week, but right now. Sometimes doctors make decisions about treatment or surgery immediately, and the child needs specialized medical consumables today.
In such moments, we cannot afford to waste precious time.
This time, thanks to the Emergency Fund, we were able to provide little Matvii with everything necessary for his treatment promptly.
When the request for help came in, we were able to respond immediately and purchase the necessary medical consumables. Without wasting time, which in critical situations can be decisive for a child's health.
This is exactly how the Emergency Fund works: help is already ready to come to the child when it is needed most.
