Good news this Monday.
There are things that give us incredible strength. These are the news items that prove: we are on the right path. After all, there is nothing more valuable than saving a child's life in the first hours after birth.
Today we want to share the story of little Yan. He was born with a severe defect and needed expensive surgical interventions on his brain. His life was under great threat, and it is at such moments that we see how important immediate help is.
Behind this result are many people who are not always seen.
– In the first minutes of life – these are the resuscitators who fought for his every breath.
– Next – the neurosurgeons who performed complex operations on the brain.
– Nearby – neonatologists, nurses, and junior staff, and neuropathologists.
Special thanks to Starenka Svitlana Yakivna – head of the intensive care and early rehabilitation department for children with perinatal pathology at NSCH Ohmatdyt – and her entire department, which saves the most difficult little patients every day. And, of course, a big thank you to all the doctors whose hands, knowledge, and hearts work as one for a child's life.
At the moment of saving a child's life, "Earth Angels" also appear – people who come to the hospital, visit the family, support them, and give hope. The company APEKSHI became such a support, personally visiting little Yan and his parents. For the family, it was a real miracle – to see that there are people nearby who do not stand aside.
Today Yan is no longer that difficult patient in intensive care. He has undergone operations, overcome a difficult path, and now has his future. This is an incredible victory!
We are grateful to everyone who supports such stories. After all, it is thanks to you that children receive everything they need: from medicines, diapers, and sterilizers to special feeding chairs. A special thank you to Alina, who fills the emergency fund and is always there when immediate help is needed.
And another piece of important news that inspires: a new rehabilitation department for infants and children who have undergone complex surgical interventions on the brain and spinal cord has opened at "Ohmatdyt". This is a place where little ones receive not only medical care but also comprehensive support – from specialized recovery methods to psychological care. There are already children here who, unfortunately, have been left without parents. For them, this department has become a chance not only to survive but to have a future.
For our part, we help the department in every possible way: we have provided it with special chairs, sterilizers, consumables, and necessary items for child care. After all, it is important for us not only to save a life in the first minutes but also to create conditions for the further recovery and quality childhood of every child.
Today we want to say "thank you" to everyone. You are strength, you are wings, you are those angels who give children a chance.
And for us, it is the greatest honor to be near these children, to provide them with everything necessary, and to see how, thanks to you, they receive their life.
