Dear friends, we have wonderful news – our little Lyubov is home! After a long and challenging treatment and rehabilitation, she has returned from the hospital.
This little girl is only two years old, yet she has already endured more than some adults do in a lifetime. When Lyubov was brought to the hospital, her condition was critical. Urgent surgery was needed, and every minute counted.
Lyubov underwent three extremely complex brain surgeries – it was her only chance for survival. And today, she is home. Alive. Smiling.
In such extraordinarily difficult cases, the coordinated work of the entire team is crucial. We want to express our sincere gratitude to the entire staff of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" for their professionalism, care, and humanity.
Today, we share this story to show how, thanks to the professionalism of neurosurgeons and the coordinated work of anesthesiologists and resuscitators, a child's life was saved. The surgery was performed by Pavlo Mykolayovych Plavskyi – one of Ukraine's leading neurosurgeons, known for his unique experience and dedication to pediatric neurosurgery. Under his leadership, a highly complex brain surgery was conducted on Lyubov – a procedure that is extremely rare and requires the highest level of skill. His professionalism, precision, and the coordinated work of the entire surgical team were decisive factors in saving the child's life. We are sincerely grateful for this courageous and masterful fight for a child's life!
