We rejoice at the happy news from our tiny little Vika! The baby is already home and sharing her first successes with us!
We've known little Vika since her first day of life. The tiny girl was brought alone by ambulance to the pediatric neurosurgery department for an urgent operation due to a congenital spinal cord defect – Spina bifida.
Little Vika's mother was still in the maternity hospital recovering from a difficult childbirth when the infant was already in the operating room.
Through years of experience caring for children with Spina bifida, we know that such children require urgent help with surgeries on the spinal cord and often on the brain. The future fate of children with this diagnosis depends precisely on the timeliness of these surgical interventions.
So we, with the support of kind hearts and Earthly Angels, were able to support little Vika during all the expensive operations.
And together we gave the little one a CHANCE for a full and happy life!
We bow in gratitude to everyone for the opportunity to support when it's so needed! We are nearby during the most important periods of our wards' lives.

Looking back at the journey we've traveled together, we are very happy that our little girl is already home, with loving parents! We also received happy photos from little Vika from home, and even from her Baptism! Our little Vika has gained a heavenly patron. We thank everyone for the gifts and treats for our girl that you passed along. They are already on their way and will soon benefit her.
