Tears of Joy After Overcoming Illness
There is no substitute for the joy in a child's eyes! Especially when little Oleksandra dreamed of defeating her illness and asked her mother about it every day.
Doctors diagnosed her with the urgent need for surgery. The family couldn’t afford the expensive surgical materials, leading to despair and her mother’s tears.
Fortunately, we learned about Oleksandra's struggle and were able to fully fund the spinal surgery through our emergency fund!
It was a true victory, bringing tears of joy to everyone involved—the girl, her mother, and us! Friends, when you contribute to the emergency fund, you give hope in critical moments when there’s no one else to help and surgery can’t wait.
Thank you to each of you for helping our girl. She is now laughing after her surgery and sends her warmest regards!
