Matviy underwent complex neurosurgical intervention, and a programmable shunt was successfully installed in his brain.
This is a complex and extremely responsible neurosurgical intervention on which the stability of his condition, further recovery, and the possibility of living without a constant threat of complications depend.
The surgery took place on time – just when every hour was crucial. Thanks to the modern programmable shunt system, doctors have the opportunity to monitor little Matviy's condition as accurately and safely as possible. This is a huge step forward on his difficult path to recovery.
We have been with Matviy for almost a year now. A year of struggle, worries, hopes, and faith in the little boy who courageously goes through trials. And today, another vital step has been taken, bringing him closer to a stable condition and healthy childhood.

It was thanks to the charity fair organized by the lyceum's students and teachers that funds were raised to purchase the expensive programmable shunt system. This is an incredible example of children's kindness, compassion, and true unity.
