Sofiyka. She was just a baby - just a month old - when she was brought to the hospital with a severe head injury. Her little life hung in the balance. She was alone. but only until we found out about her.

Thanks to you, our friends, we were able to provide Sophia with everything she needed to save her. Doctors from the Kyiv City Centre for Children's Neurosurgery and personally doctor Kateryna Novakovich fought for her life, were with her day and night. The baby was not allowed to cry, because every tear could become a danger after the trauma.

We cannot but thank our volunteer nannies for their round-the-clock care and concern, who became real guardian angels for Sofija.

We all believed: Sofiyka will make it. And she did... She had to go through several more stages of treatment, to live through hard days of rehabilitation, but she coped....

But the story did not end there.

We are eternally grateful to the Pechersk district administration in Kiev and every kind heart who supported this little girl on her way to a new life.

Sofiyka has found a family. The one she had never even dreamed of, but which was always meant for her. Now every morning she wakes up in the arms of people who love her infinitely. She laughs, plays, and lives the life every child deserves - with a sense of warmth, care, and security.

This is not just one girl's story. It's the story of thousands of children who dream of the same thing every day - a home. And it is your support that can give them that chance.
