Seventeenth surgery completed – little Ivan's story
Friends, we have good news – little Ivan has successfully undergone surgery.
A shunt was placed in his brain to restore fluid drainage and relieve dangerous pressure.
This is already the 17th surgery in his short life – and each one has been a fight for another breath, a chance to grow and live.
We’ve been by little Ivan’s side since birth. We've seen him fight, go through difficult recoveries after each procedure – and smile again when the pain fades.
He is an incredibly strong child – a true little hero.
