On February 4, 2025, Polina's life changed…
During a missile attack, a missile fragment hit Polina and damaged the girl's spinal cord. Thanks to doctors, Polina was saved, but she lost the ability to walk and now cannot return home.
Today Polina is undergoing treatment and rehabilitation. Even in a special wheelchair, it is difficult for her to sit for long, and each session – is pain and a challenge.
Ahead lies a long and difficult path to recovery, but it is rehabilitation that gives a chance to move forward and return to a full life.
We sincerely thank Alina for her kind heart and for providing Polina with everything necessary for further rehabilitation. Such support gives the child a chance to recover step by step and fight for her dream to walk again.
