Our ward, Oleksandr, who was born with the congenital diagnosis of Spina Bifida, successfully underwent neurosurgical operation.
During the intervention, doctors installed a special system in the boy's head, which is vitally necessary for his further development and life.
Children with such a diagnosis often require urgent operations, as delay in such cases is dangerous – every day can change their chance for life and health.
We are immensely grateful to the neurosurgical team for their professionalism and care – for a saved child's life.
