The baby, whose life was fought for long before his birth, is leaving the hospital walls and going home with his mother. Behind him – a difficult journey, anxiety, the operating room, and waiting. Ahead – a life filled with hope.
Even during pregnancy, Dominik's mother was persistently advised to terminate it due to the diagnosis of "hydrocephalus." But she made a different choice – to give birth and fight for her son. And today we see the result of this faith: 4 brain surgeries have been performed, a vital brain shunt has been placed, dangerous pressure has been relieved, and Dominik has a chance to grow, develop, and live a full childhood.
All this time, we have been by his side – together with you, with benefactors, with doctors, with people who did not look away. It is thanks to our joint efforts that Dominik received everything necessary for the surgery in time.
