Little Milanochka was born with a difficult fate. From the moment she was born, she was alone in a hospital room. Doctors diagnosed her with spina bifida, a birth defect that required immediate medical attention.
Immediately after the diagnosis, we started to act. The first aid was organised on the same day, and the first surgery was performed. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the diagnosis, her parents abandoned the child. Milanochka was left without a family, but she was not left without care. We took her under our care and continued her treatment.
There were two more important surgeries ahead: the first to install a reservoir, and the third for bypass surgery. To provide everything she needed, we, together with caring hearts, joined forces to buy over UAH 100,000 worth of consumables for her recovery.
It was the support that marked the beginning of a new chapter in the child's life. It seemed that there was only uncertainty ahead. But then a real miracle happened: Milanochka's grandmother appeared and took her in, giving her the warmth of a family and the comfort of home. From now on, the girl lives among her family, surrounded by the love and care she so deserves.
We thank each of you who opened your hearts to Milanochka. It is thanks to you that the little girl got a chance for a happy childhood and hope for a healthy future. Together we are a big heart!
