Friends, we have joyful news – Milaniia sends greetings from home!
Just half a year ago, this brave girl was fighting for her life within the hospital walls, undergoing complex brain surgeries. Today, she is smiling at home, surrounded by her family, and this is the greatest miracle we could witness.
Little Milaniia has already gotten used to the warmth, peace, and hugs of her parents. Her condition is stable, and ahead of her is recovery and the childhood joys she so deserves.
Again and again, we thank the incredible doctors of NCSH Okhmatdyt, the head of the neurosurgery department Pavlo Mykolaiovych Plavskyi and his entire team of neurosurgeons, the attending neurosurgeon Andrii Ivanovych Harkusha, as well as the neonatologists and resuscitators for their skill, dedication, and care.
Special thanks to the attending physician Olena Mykolaivna Bakaieva, who was by Milaniia's side during the most difficult moments, and Svitlana Yakivna Starenka for her sensitivity and care. You are true angels in white coats.
