Friends, today we share very bright, long-awaited and such important news – our little ward, little Varvara, has been discharged from the hospital to go home.
Behind this simple and warm word "home" – months of an extremely difficult fight for the life of a little girl.
Little Varvara was born with severe congenital pathologies.
In the first days of her life, she underwent complex intestinal surgery due to gastroschisis, and later – several important neurosurgical interventions on the brain due to hydrocephalus.
From birth, her life was a fight.
A fight for every new day.
For the opportunity to breathe, recover, grow and simply be next to her mother.
And today we can say the most important thing – little Varvara is home.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the doctors of the All-Ukrainian Center for Motherhood and Childhood for saving little Varvara's life. Thank you for your professionalism, experience, daily struggle, for decisions that gave a chance where it was scary even to imagine.
Special sincere thanks to Doctor Vadym Ivanovych Zyabchenko – for professionalism, humanity, care and fight for little Varvara at every stage of her treatment. We thank all the medical staff who were with the girl all these months: neurosurgeons, surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, nurses and the entire team that fought for this child every day.
And endless gratitude to each of you, friends.
It is thanks to you that little Varvara received a chance to go through this journey.
It is thanks to your support that this story today has a happy continuation.
Sincere thanks to Switlo for providing diapers for little Varvara. We thank TM Betis for good, comfortable and high-quality clothes for the little girl. We thank Darochka.ua for fancy dresses that brought a little joy and childlike warmth after such a difficult journey.
We thank the Embassy of Finland in Ukraine for warm knitted items. Your care warms at the most needed time.
We rejoice at every such "home".
Every little victory of our wards.
Because it is for such moments that we all fight together every day.
Thank you for being there.
Together we are a big heart that saves children.
