Solomiya is home after treatment made possible thanks to you

Little Solomiya was born with a severe diagnosis and serious problems in her brain. Her story is one of fighting for life from her very first minutes and achieving victory, made possible by the efforts of many people and your support.

The girl spent a year and a half undergoing treatment at the National Specialized Children's Hospital "Ohmatdyt." Thanks to the incredible professionalism of neurosurgeons led by head surgeon Pavlo Mykolaiovych Plavskyi, Solomiya successfully underwent five complex brain surgeries. She was saved from critical complications and now has a chance for a healthy future.

We sincerely thank:

• Attending physician and neurosurgeon Andriy Ivanovych Harkusha for his dedicated work and exceptional skill;
• The team of anesthesiologists and resuscitators in the intensive care unit, who left no room for complications;
• The neonatal department, headed by chief Svetlana Yakivna Starenka, for their care and for giving the girl a chance at life;
• All medical staff who were by her side every minute.

Special thanks to Roman Tkach, his family, and friends Olena Tkach, Dmytro Bulyha, Volodymyr Buhela, and Vira Butryn for their sincere support and kind hearts. Today is Roman’s son’s birthday—he turned 13! Solomiya’s discharge on this day became a symbolic gift, reminding us that kindness always comes back.

We sincerely thank the family for their kind hearts and incredible support! Your help made it possible to perform one life-saving surgery that gave the child a chance for a healthy future.
