For over 20 years, the charitable organization "Mother and Child" has been supporting premature babies who begin their fight for life from the very first breath. For them, every minute matters, and modern treatment means a chance for the future.
Today we want to share the story of little Solomiia — a baby girl who went through three complex brain surgeries and the installation of a shunting system. She was born prematurely at 27 weeks of pregnancy. Her condition was critical, and each day was a challenge. But thanks to the professionalism of the doctors and your support, a miracle happened — Solomiia is now home!
We sincerely thank the First Medical Association of Lviv and the St. Nicholas Children's Hospital for their dedication and professionalism. Special thanks to the head of the neurosurgery department Taras Mykytyn, neurosurgeon Ihor Homeniuk, and the team of anesthesiologists, intensivists, and all the medical staff who fight for the lives of our little ones every day. Thanks to them, children’s hearts keep beating and hope shines in their eyes.
