Friends, we're sharing some bright news with you.
Our little Polina is already home. She was born with a severe diagnosis – spina bifida, and needed an urgent surgical intervention in the first days of her life. It was a very complex and dangerous situation, but thanks to the coordinated work of many people – a child's life was saved.
Behind this result is an entire team:
– resuscitators who fought for every breath little Polina took;
– neurosurgeons who performed a complex operation;
– neonatologists, nurses, and junior staff who were there during the most difficult moments.
Special thanks to Starenka Svitlana Yakivna – head of the department for the care of newborns with perinatal pathology, medical rehabilitation, and catamnestic observation of infants at NSCH Ohmatdyt, and her entire team. Their daily work is a real miracle for children born with the most complex diagnoses.

Today, little Polina is already home. She is taking her first steps toward a happy childhood – and this was made possible thanks to you. We thank everyone who put their heart into this story.
