A brave little boy who fights for his life every day. Without his mom nearby. But with us. And with you.
We didn't leave him alone – and thanks to you, we were able to provide everything necessary for two more urgent brain surgeries.
These operations were critically needed – and the boy endured.
Little Lukas has already survived his fourteenth brain surgery.
In his one year of life, he has been through more than some people experience in their entire lives. But he holds on. He fights. He lives.
We believe that thanks to timely surgical interventions, his body will be able to overcome the severe brain inflammation.
And together we will reach the main stage – shunting. This will give him a chance to stabilize his condition, relieve dangerous pressure on the brain, and allow his body to develop.
We very much want to believe that little Lukas will have a childhood. He will have a future. That he will grow up – and will know: he was very much wanted and very much loved. Because we are all by his side. And you – are by his side.
