Friends, we have news that fills the heart with light – Davyd is home!
Our little ward Davyd has been discharged from the hospital after a complex and extremely important stage of treatment. Behind him are anxious days, brain surgery, recovery, and a constant struggle for stable condition. Today he is home – in the embrace of his family, in peace, warmth, and tranquility.
During neurosurgical intervention, Davyd was fitted with a programmable shunt system – it is this system that now drains excess fluid from the brain, relieves dangerous pressure, and allows his body to develop without pain or threats. This is a chance for life, for childhood, for a future.
Throughout this difficult journey, we have been by Davyd's side – providing everything necessary so that doctors could act without delay and do their extremely important work.
