Friends, we have bright news – our little beneficiary Dana has been discharged home!
This little girl has gone through an extremely difficult path: brain surgery, days in intensive care, constant medical supervision and difficult trials.
Behind are anxious expectations, difficult decisions and a great fight for her life.
And today we can say the most important thing – Dana is home.
Returning home is a very important stage.
It means that her condition has stabilized and the hardest part is already behind.
Now she is with her family, in warmth, love and care, where she can recover and gain strength.
Our warmest words of gratitude to the team of St. Nicholas Children's Hospital – neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, nurses and the entire multidisciplinary team that fights for children's lives every day.
Your professionalism, experience and humanity give young patients the most precious thing – a chance for the future.
Special deep gratitude to the head of the neurosurgery department Taras Mykytyn and attending physician Ihor Ihorovych Homeniuk – for confident decisions, meticulous work, calmness and faith that you give to families in the most difficult moments.
It is thanks to such doctors that the most complex diagnoses become rescue stories.
And from the bottom of our hearts, we thank each of you, friends:
– for help and donations;
– for sharing Dana's story;
– for support, prayers and faith.
It is thanks to you that this day became possible.
It is thanks to you that Dana got a chance to return home.
There is still a path of recovery ahead, but now she walks it in peace, next to her loved ones and with faith in the future.
Thank you for being with us.
Together, we are a big heart!
