Friends, we are sharing very good news about our little beneficiary Bohdana!
Little Bohdana has been discharged from the hospital after treatment.
We have been caring for this girl since the first day of her life. For over a year, she has been fighting – fighting every day, with that incredible strength that only children have. During this time, Bohdana has undergone numerous brain surgeries – each of them was a critical trial for her and her family, and each required urgent response, resources and support. We were there at every stage.
It was a difficult and very important journey – from the moment her condition required urgent decisions to today, when she can be with her family and continue her recovery outside the hospital.
The most important thing is that doctors managed to stabilize the girl's condition and save her life.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the doctors who were by Bohdana's side at every stage: for their professionalism, resilience, daily fight and decisions that give children a chance to live.
Special thanks to Alina and Denys and their family for replenishing the Emergency Fund. It is thanks to such people that we can react instantly – when a child arrives by ambulance, when every hour counts, when there is no time to delay. Children with brain and spinal cord defects need constant support – and the Emergency Fund saves their lives just as much as the surgeries do. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
