Friends, we have good news about our little ward Artem!
Little Artem has been discharged home from the neurosurgery department after complex brain surgeries.
Not long ago, this little boy had been bravely fighting for his life since birth. Severe brain inflammation, long-term treatment, complex neurosurgical operations, family worries and sleepless nights of doctors… Behind this discharge lies a great struggle that Artem went through day after day.
Today he is already home.
This is an extremely important stage on the road to recovery. Ahead of the boy lies recovery, medical observation and preparation for another important stage of treatment – heart surgery. We sincerely believe that Artem will overcome this battle as well.
Our warmest words of gratitude to the team of St. Nicholas Children's Hospital – neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, nurses and the entire multidisciplinary team that saves children's lives every day.
Special thanks to the head of the neurosurgery department Taras Mykytyn and attending physician Ihor Ihorovych Homeniuk – for professionalism, experience, care and fight for Artem's life. It is thanks to your knowledge, dedication and daily work that young patients receive a chance for a future.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank every benefactor who supported Artem. Thanks to your donations, doctors were provided with all necessary medical supplies for life-saving surgeries on time.
We thank everyone who shared Artem's story, supported his family with kind words, prayers and faith. Every donation, every share and every prayer became part of this rescue story.
We kindly ask you to keep Artem in your thoughts and prayers. Another important surgery lies ahead, and now the boy needs our collective support more than ever.
We wish Artem a speedy recovery, a successful heart surgery, good health and a happy childhood without pain.
Thank you for being with us. Together we are a big heart that saves children.
