Friends, we are sharing good news – our beneficiary, little Artem, has been discharged home!
Our little Artem, who recently underwent complex reconstructive skull surgery, is already home. This means the most difficult stage is behind, and ahead are recovery, growth, and a childhood that should be filled with life, not hospital wards.
For a child with a skull development disorder, a timely operation is a chance for proper brain development, the opportunity to avoid dangerous pressure, pain, and serious risks in the future. And Artem received this chance thanks to our joint efforts.
Just recently, we were all worrying together, seeking opportunities to help, and supporting the family. And today we can say – one of the most important steps has been taken.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" – the doctors and medical team who were by Artem's side on this journey. Thanks to the head of the neurosurgery department, Pavlo Mykolayovych Plavsky, and his team. Neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, resuscitators, nurses – your professionalism and daily work save children's lives.
