Newborn little Andriy successfully underwent another brain surgery – the baby received a shunt system.
This is an extremely important stage in his treatment, as this system helps control pressure and protects the brain from further complications. For such a tiny boy, this is a big step forward – a step towards stabilization and a chance at life.
Now Andriy is under medical supervision, recovering after surgery and gaining strength. There is still a period of observation ahead, but the most difficult and important stage is already behind.
