We are pleased to announce with great gratitude – little Andriana has undergone complex neurosurgical surgery.
The girl has a severe form of hydrocephalus. Due to excessive fluid accumulation in her brain, her life was at risk. The only chance was urgent salvation.
During the operation, doctors installed a shunting system – this is a special medical device that drains excess fluid from the brain into the abdominal cavity. This allows reducing pressure, stopping the destruction of brain tissues, and giving the child a chance for a full life.
Currently, little Andriana is in a ward with her mother. She has gone through the worst – now a long path to recovery lies ahead, and we believe: she will cope.
This was possible only thanks to you – everyone who responded. You gave not just help, but life. And we will never forget this.
