Caring for deeply premature babies is a true medical art that requires boundless love, patience, and professionalism. Behind every saved life stands a large multidisciplinary team of doctors who fight daily for the health and future of these children.
Oleksandra is one of those fragile little ones who was born too early. Her first hours and days were spent in the neonatal intensive care unit at Okhmatdyt. We express our deepest gratitude to the resuscitation team, especially Larysa Vasylivna Nikonova, and all the anesthesiologists who became her guardian angels from the very first second.
Difficult brain surgeries lay ahead, and here the neurosurgical team fought for Oleksandra’s life. We are grateful to Pavlo Mykolaiovych Plavskyi, the head of the neurosurgery department, and all the neurosurgeons who demonstrated incredible skill and saved this child’s life.
Special thanks go to the anesthesiologists and resuscitation specialists who were by her side at every stage of treatment, tirelessly caring for her and helping her tiny body overcome all obstacles.
After these complex surgeries, the little girl spent a long time in the department for deeply premature babies under the attentive care of Tetiana Oleksandrivna Orlova and her team. We are immensely grateful to all the doctors and medical staff who fight every day for the lives of such tiny patients. They do more than just their jobs—they give a piece of their hearts to each child.
Even in the most difficult moments, when due to tough circumstances Oleksandra was left without her mother in the hospital, she was always under reliable care. We were happy to support her, providing all the necessary medicines, surgical materials, and everything required to save her life.
Today, this little girl is a true miracle, a symbol of strength and faith. And all of this was made possible thanks to the incredible people in white coats.
