Today is a special day for our entire team. Our ward, little Nazar, has turned one year old!
A year ago, we introduced you to a little boy who had been bravely fighting for his life since birth. Ahead of him lay complex brain surgeries, long months in the hospital, intensive care, family worries and a daily struggle for every new day.
Today, little Nazar celebrated his first birthday.
For most children, the first year of life is about first steps, first words, first smiles. For Nazar, this year became a year of great struggle. But most importantly – he has overcome another very important stage and today he is celebrating his first birthday at home, with his closest family.
For our team, there is no greater joy than seeing our little wards grow, celebrate their first birthdays, take their first steps and discover the world.
Dear Nazar, we wish you good health, a carefree childhood, new small victories, happy smiles and boundless parental love. May there be as many celebrations, warm hugs and joyful moments in your life as possible, and may hospital walls remain only a memory.
We thank everyone who has been with Nazar throughout this year. It is thanks to you that stories of struggle become stories of life.
Together we are a big heart that saves children.
