Look at these two photos. They were taken just a few weeks apart. It's hard to believe it's the same child. The head has decreased by more than 10 centimeters! This is not Photoshop, not fiction – it is reality, tragedy, and at the same time, hope.
Our task is not to count the percentage of chances, not to guess what will happen tomorrow. Our task is to help the child today. And even when time is lost, we can alleviate the pain, we can give a chance.
Behind this result is the tremendous work of doctors. It's their professionalism, new technologies, and readiness to make decisions the very minute the child arrives, even late in the evening. It's their compassion and desire to save.
