Little Emiliia sends greetings from home!
Our little girl – loved, cuddled, smiling. Though her story began with a fight for life, today we rejoice at every movement, every step toward recovery.
Emiliia was born with a rare and dangerous diagnosis – cervical myelocystocele. This congenital spinal cord defect required urgent and complex surgery. Her life was hanging by a thread.
Now she feels her legs, she is developing, she smiles at the world – and in each of these moments, there is a part of you.
Emiliia and her family thank everyone who helped her through this journey. To the doctors of Ohmatdyt, who performed a complex neurosurgical procedure. Special thanks to the incredible Svitlana Yakivna Starenka, Pavlo Plavskyi, and Oleksandr Voloshchuk – you are not just doctors, you give children a second chance at life every day.
Thanks to the anesthesiologists, neonatologists, pediatricians, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, nurses and staff – each of you has touched her story with care and compassion.
And of course – thank you, friends: those who supported, shared the request, prayed, gave encouragement. You were the wings that helped this girl rise above the darkness of illness.
Thank you for your kind hearts, for your faith in life, for being there.
Together we are a great force. Together we are a big heart. Together we are the miracle that came true. And today, this miracle is called Emiliia.
