Friends, we have important news about our beneficiary little Ivan!
Little Ivan successfully underwent complex surgery to install a shunt system in his brain. This is an extremely important stage in his treatment, as this system helps control pressure and protects the brain from dangerous complications.
For Ivan, this is a big step forward – a step towards stabilization, recovery, and the opportunity to live without constant threat.
Now the baby is under medical supervision, gradually recovering after the surgery, and ahead is a period of observation and rehabilitation.
We are immensely grateful to the team of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" – for their professionalism, humanity, and daily fight for children's lives.
We thank the neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, nurses, and all the staff who are by the boy's side at every stage of treatment.
