Friends, our little Andriy is already home!
After a complex neurosurgical operation, our little ward Andriy went through a difficult path of recovery and finally returned home.
Ahead is rehabilitation and recovery, but the most important thing has happened: the boy's life is out of danger, and he can smile again, feel the warmth of native hugs and peace after long days in the hospital.
We are immensely grateful to the team of doctors and medical staff who fight for children's lives every day, namely: The National Children's Specialized Hospital NDSL Okhmatdyt, the Neurosurgery Department and the Head of the Department Pavlo Plavskyi, Doctor Andrii Harkusha. The entire team: neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses who were there during the most difficult moments.
Special thanks to Alina – your kind heart, quick reaction, and constant support of the Emergency Fund helped provide little Andriy with everything necessary for the operation. Your kindness is a chance at life given to a child at the most critical moment.
