Friends, we have truly bright news – our little ward Sofia has been discharged home.
After a complex neurosurgical operation, days of anxiety and recovery, little Sofia returned home together with her mother.
Behind – the hospital, worries and waiting. Ahead – home, warmth and a chance for a peaceful childhood.
By Sofia's side is her mother. Young, very fragile, but incredibly strong. She went through this difficult path with dignity, love and faith, not leaving her daughter for a moment. Today they are home together. And that is the most important thing.
Our warmest words of gratitude to the team of St. Nicholas Children's Hospital – to all the specialists who were by Sofia's side at every stage: neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, resuscitators, nurses. Your coordinated work, experience and humanity return not just health to children – you return their future to them.
Separate deep gratitude to the head of the neurosurgery department Taras Mykytyn and the attending physician Ihor Ihorovych Homeniuk for balanced decisions, professional confidence and the peace you give to families in the most anxious moments. It is thanks to such doctors that hope becomes reality.
We sincerely thank the company "Apeksha" for timely support, kindness and readiness to act quickly when every hour counted. It was thanks to you that everything necessary for the operation was provided on time.
We gave Sofia a New Year's gift – as a sign of care, support and faith in her bright, happy childhood.
We sincerely thank Ms. Lyudmyla Omokokh – for organizing gifts and sincere attention to our wards. Such signs of support warm the hearts of families in difficult days.
We sincerely thank all benefactors of the "St. Nicholas from Abroad" initiative – for your participation, compassion and desire to support children who have undergone complex treatment and difficult neurosurgical operations. Your attention and care became real support for them in a difficult period.
We thank everyone who was by Sofia's side: who supported, helped, believed. Today she is at home, and this is our common victory.
Together we are a big heart. Together we save children.
