Little Emilia is finally home!

This tiny girl was born with a rare and dangerous diagnosis – cervical myelocystocele. This is a severe spinal cord defect that required urgent surgery, as her life was at risk without it. The operation was extremely complex and delicate, as it involved the spinal cord, which controls every movement, every breath, and every hope for a full life.

A special thank you to Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital – a place where true miracles happen, and doctors become guardian angels for their little patients. We are immensely grateful to Svitlana Yakivna Starenka, Pavlo Plavskyi, and Oleksandr Voloshchuk for their dedication, professionalism, and high level of medical expertise.

And today, our little girl is finally home – she can feel her legs, she is growing, and we are overjoyed for her.
