The first stage of treatment for little Alice is already behind

Friends, we start this morning with good news.
We thank each of you for your support, for your trust, and for being there.

Today we share news that fills the heart with hope.
Another baby has received a chance at a full life.

Little Alice was born prematurely, a girl from a twin pregnancy. Unfortunately, her brain was affected – as often happens with such children.

In such cases, the child needs urgent neurosurgical interventions, and there is simply no time to wait.

Treatment occurs in stages:
first, a drainage system is installed,
then – a reservoir, and the next, vitally important stage – shunting.

Thanks to each of you and thanks to Alina, who replenished the emergency fund, Alice has already been operated on – the first stage is complete, the drainage system has been installed.

We sincerely believe that the cerebrospinal fluid tests will be good, and doctors will be able to move on to the next step of treatment and surgical interventions.

We thank the doctors who fight for the lives of such children every day – professionally, with heart, and with great responsibility.

Special thanks to Alina – for her sensitivity, the big heart that gave the baby a chance.
And thank you to everyone who became part of this miracle.
