World Down Syndrome Day

Today, March 21, the world celebrates World Down Syndrome Day. This day reminds us that children with Down syndrome are special not because of their diagnosis, but because of their big hearts, sincere souls, and incredible ability to love unconditionally.

For 20 years of work, the charitable organization "Mother and Child" has had the honor of holding many such children in our arms. We know how their little hearts beat when they feel love and warmth. We have seen how much light they bring into this world. They are true miracles – children who know no envy or aggression, only openness and sincere hearts toward everyone around them.

Today, we remember the story of our little Vitya. From his first days of life, he was alone. We held him in our arms, listened to his little heartbeat, and believed he would get his chance at life. And he did.

We wholeheartedly believe he has a bright future ahead. We thank everyone who stands by Vitya today, giving him care, love, and support. Because every child is a life that deserves the best.

Children with Down syndrome have the right to be happy, to learn, to dream, to work, to pursue their passions, and to rejoice in every day. Our mission is to make this world kinder and open more opportunities for them.
