World Children's Day - together for a happy childhood

Today is World Children's Day.

It is a day when we remember that every child deserves to be cared for, loved and protected. Children have the right to a happy childhood in safety, education, medical care and family warmth. Unfortunately, for Ukrainian children, these basic rights are violated every day because of the war. They lose their lives, health, parents and homes. Many of them have been orphaned or forced to leave their homes destroyed by Russian shelling.

The war hurts not only children, but our entire country. But we are not giving up. Since the first days of the war, we have focused our efforts on saving children. Thanks to our international partners, we managed to evacuate and transport more than a thousand children to foreign hospitals. We are also actively helping children who remain in Ukraine.

Thanks to you, our ‘earthly angels’, we are together protecting children from pain, fear and loss. Together we are a big heart that fights for the life and future of every child.
