World Children's Day and thousands of saved destinies

Today is World Children's Day. A day that reminds us of what matters most.
That every child is a small universe.
That every child's life is priceless.
That children have the right to safety, care, love, health and a future.

But today in Ukraine, this right has to be fought for every day.
Fought for together – by doctors, parents, volunteers, benefactors, all people with big hearts.

We work so that no child is left without help at the moment when it is most needed.
Every day we save infants with severe defects, support babies fighting for life, find medicines, perform surgeries, meet mothers after difficult childbirths, help children who have lost family or home.

We are there in the first minutes, hours, days – when support makes all the difference.

This year, thousands of children have been under our care.
Thousands of small stories, each of which could have ended differently... if not for you.

You are the ones who work real miracles.
Your support, reposts, words of encouragement, your warmth – this is life saved here and now.

And today, on World Children's Day, we want to say the most important thing:
Every child matters.
Every child deserves love.
Every child deserves to live.

We thank everyone who is with us.
We thank the doctors who pull children from the most severe conditions every day.
We thank the benefactors who help us act without delay.
We thank everyone who stands by when a child needs rescue.

Together we are a big heart that saves lives
Together we give children what they should receive by default: a future.
