The power of small steps – how we save children together

Today is Monday – and we want to start this week with sincere gratitude and inspiration.

We all live in difficult times – every day we hear about injuries, losses, destroyed destinies. But at the same time, every day we see those who don't pass by. Those who save, support, lend a shoulder where it hurts the most.

Each of you – is part of a great cause.
Part of changes in the destinies of children affected by war.
Part of saving lives at every stage.

Someone operates and fights for a child in the operating room.
Someone provides necessary materials for these operations.
Someone meets seriously ill children from trains in the middle of the night.
Someone gives them temporary housing – when parents are gone or home is destroyed.
Someone provides food, hygiene products, clothing, special formulas, diapers.
Someone simply says: "I'm here. How can I help?"

And this is where we want to say the main thing.
Every day together with you we save children's lives.
Every day – thanks to you – we pay for surgical supplies, help with medicines, food, formulas, diapers, warm clothes.
Every day we meet children in hospitals, at train stations, in intensive care units.
Every day we give them shelter, refuge, care, and hope.

Every day you together with us change their destiny – quietly, sincerely, without loud words, but with enormous power of love.
It's from these small steps that big things are made – a saved child's life.

Today we want to thank each of you.
You – are our strength.
You – are the warmth these children feel in their darkest moments.
You – are involved in giving them the chance to live, receive treatment, recover, take their first steps into a new future.

May this post become inspiration for everyone in the new work week.
We move forward.
We fight.
We save those for whom our shared goodness – is sometimes the only thing left.

Thank you for every gesture, every word, every action.
