Thanks to Smile Train and the Sokol family, we save babies' smiles

For the timely provision of quality medical care to children in need, VBO "Mama i nemovlya" works fruitfully with many Ukrainian and international charitable foundations.

We were glad to have a pleasant meeting with Olga Kudamanova, a representative of the international children's charity organization Smile Train, which specializes in treating cleft lip and palate.

"Smile Train" has been supporting the Ohmatdyt hospital for many years in the proper treatment of children with cleft lip. Together with them, we provide the microsurgery department with all the best for performing such operations.

During this cooperation, we were able to purchase the highest quality consumables, surgical instruments, and medicines.

The value of Smile Train's charitable contribution to the treatment of babies with this diagnosis is difficult to underestimate. Since millions of un-operated children around the world, due to such defects, cannot eat or speak normally and have further problems with socialization...

Therefore, we are immensely grateful to this foundation, and especially to the Elsie Sokol family, which oversees the Ukrainian direction of the Smile Train foundation's cooperation, for the timely saved smiles of little Ukrainians.

Every time we visit children who have undergone surgery with this diagnosis, we pass on your greetings. And no words are enough to convey all their gratitude not only for their new smiles, but also for new prospects for a healthy, happy future.
