Sincere gratitude to our good friends and partners from Switzerland!

We had the honour to meet with our partners in Switzerland and convey to them our gratitude from all of Ukraine, from the head of NDSB Okhmatdet Volodymyr Zhovnir. You are our heroes and we are eternally grateful for your support and help in these difficult times for Ukraine and Ukrainians.

In the first days of the war, when Ukrainian hospitals, in particular NDSB Okhmatdet Hospital, needed immediate help and support, our Swiss friends Ariane Laeuchli, Emma Tita, Martin Wegmüller, Rotary Allschwil, Rotary District did not stand by.
The partners helped the hospital financially and donated generators that were desperately needed to survive the cold winter of 2022-2023. This was a true lifesaver for the hospital, many families and their children.

Thank you for organising and coordinating the process to the surgeon Sergei Petrik for always being ready to help and doing everything possible for the children and for the good of Ukraine!

The medical rehabilitation programme launched by our partners deserves special attention. Thanks to it, our little patients got a unique opportunity to undergo rehabilitation in the best clinics of Switzerland.

Among those who received this help, there is our ward Sofiyka. Her story touches the heart of each of us. After receiving a shrapnel wound to the head from an explosion in Mykolaiv, Sofiyka needed immediate treatment and rehabilitation both in Ukraine and abroad.

Thanks to Arianna and Emma, Sofia has been rehabilitated in Zurich, Basel and is doing well. We are incredibly grateful to you for this!
