Positive emotions and a sense of security are not just words or terms. These are the moments that make up childhood. The morning rays of the sun gently touching little cheeks, dad's hugs, the feeling of his protection, the smell of mom's fresh pancakes in the kitchen, games, and laughter in the family home... These are the things that form the warmest memories, which remain in the heart for a lifetime.

Our wards are the children of fallen heroes, orphans who lost their parents because of the war, and children who underwent complex treatment at the Okhmatdyt NDSL. All these little ones have lost part of their childhood. They have lost those warm moments that stay with us throughout our adult lives. But thanks to your support, today these children are able to experience a little bit of happiness.

The children are currently resting on the coast of sunny Italy, where they swim in the sea, make new friends, enjoy fun interactive activities, talk to psychologists, and watch movies under the starry sky. Every day for them is not just about rest and recovery; it’s a chance to fill their hearts with happiness that will continue to warm them.

We are deeply grateful to the doctors at Okhmatdyt for their selfless work, which has given these children the opportunity to live.
