New children's support center in Kyiv preparing to open

The "Mama i nemovlia" children's aid center in Kyiv – will soon open its doors to the first young visitors.
This place will become a rescue for children in crisis – those affected by explosions, who lost parents, experienced trauma, or suddenly found themselves without care. Children who simply have no one to turn to in the first hours after tragedy.

That's why we're creating Kyiv's first Children's Primary Aid Center – a space of safety, warmth and immediate assistance.

Part of the center is already in the final renovation stage.
We're finishing the premises, furnishing rooms, completing installation.
All that remains is installing plumbing, lighting and furniture – and the center will be ready to receive the first children coming to Kyiv for examination, consultations, treatment or urgent rehabilitation.
And everyone helping this process becomes part of a great cause – creating a place where children's lives begin recovering from the first minute.

We express immense gratitude to Mrs. Olena – a person with a huge heart who has supported our wards for many years.
It's thanks to her help that we can now continue renovations and do what's necessary to have a place to shelter children.
You gave a start to a new life for hundreds of children.

What the Center will do:

– Psychological help: crisis psychologists, art therapists, stabilization rooms
– Temporary stay: safe place for sleep, food, warmth and care
– Medical and humanitarian support: clothing, nutrition, hygiene products, legal assistance
– Treatment and rehabilitation coordination: routes from hospital to center and further – to rehabilitation or guardianship

This center is for children who:

– were affected during attacks or explosions
– lost adults nearby
– have disabilities and were left without accompaniment
– were discharged from hospital and have nowhere to wait for transportation home

And we cannot allow these children to have no place where they'll be accepted and protected.

The center is located in central Kyiv – near hospitals.
Where children most often need rescue here and now.
This is a place where instead of fear – there's warmth.
Where instead of emptiness – there are supporting hands.
Where instead of darkness – there's light and humanity.

This project is about the future we're creating together.
We believe that beside us will be those who care about Ukrainian children's fate.
Those who want to create good that leaves a mark for decades.
