Little Mykhailo's second year and the dream of a children's center

Little Mykhailo is 2 years old.

It was very important for us to share this day with him. To be there and give warmth, attention and childish joy – what every child needs so much. Especially when there is no reliable adult nearby.

Together with our benefactors, partners, the team of Kyiv City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1 and Mykhailo's friends, we shared this celebration.

We really wanted him to feel that he is not alone and that there are people nearby who care about him.

Little Mykhailo is an incredibly bright boy. Open, attentive, he really reaches out to people and interaction.

At his celebration, he sat down for the first time. For us, this is great joy and further confirmation: little Mykhailo has strength, potential and a great desire to develop.

We have already told you that little Mykhailo is currently without parental care. He goes through all his trials without a reliable adult nearby.

Currently, he is cared for by specialists of the Kyiv City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1, and our charitable organization systematically supports him: providing clothes, toys, special nutrition and necessary supplies.

But children do not belong in hospital wards.

The hospital provides treatment. But it cannot replace a loving family, constant presence, hugs, development and a sense of home.

We sincerely dream that a caring family will be found for little Mykhailo, ready to take him under their care, support treatment, development and give him what every child needs most – love and a reliable adult nearby.

My big dream is to create a center for such children. So that children with health problems without parental care receive round-the-clock care, attention, rehabilitation and support until they find their loving families.

Because I believe: when a child is surrounded by care, he recovers faster and has more chances for a quality life, development and future.
