Congenital cleft lip and palate are not a sentence

Families of our little beneficiaries often approach us with complex cases of cleft lip or palate, which are among the most common congenital malformations. Commonly known as "harelip" or "cleft palate" – these are diagnoses babies are born with and must live with until surgery.

Even the most complex cases can be saved. The main thing is to perform the surgery in time and have the appropriate medical equipment for it.

And it is thanks to our doctors, Natalia Andriivna Tetruieva, Oleh Ihorovych Holubchenko, Anatolii Vsevolodovych Tymoshenko, and partners Smile Train, who help children with cleft lip and and palate worldwide, that we achieve success.

During our cooperation, many children from low-income families and orphanages have returned to normal life, all thanks to kind hearts from abroad. Also, with funds from partners, we were able to update the necessary equipment specifically for this type of surgery.

And how happy the little ones are with their new faces! So many tears of gratitude and joy from the families! Little Nazar and Maksym eagerly awaited the opportunity to undergo surgery, and thanks to our joint support, this is now not just a dream, but a reality. After all, their families simply had no means and did not even hope for a miracle.
