Books, games and smiles – a celebration for children in hospital

Together, the teams of the Charitable Organization "Mother and Child", the publishing house "Ranok", the Charitable Foundation "Ranok-Ukraine" and the Kyiv City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1 organized a special celebration for children undergoing treatment and rehabilitation.

For some of them, the hospital has become home for days, weeks or even months. Some are going through this difficult stage without parental care. That is why it is so important that alongside professional medical care, there is care, sincere emotions and moments of true childhood.

For over 20 years, we at the Charitable Organization "Mother and Child" have been supporting children in difficult life circumstances. During this time, we have repeatedly seen that positive emotions, attention and the feeling of being cared for are also an important part of recovery. Especially for children undergoing treatment without parental care.

That is why we joined forces to give young patients a celebration of joy, smiles and carefreeness. We prepared a puppet show, interactive games, gifts and books that will remind them of this day for a long time.

We sincerely thank the head doctor, Yevheniia Hryhorieva, and the hospital team for their daily professional work, humanity and care for every child. Here, they not only save lives and health – they do everything possible to ensure that even within hospital walls, children feel warmth, support and hope.

Thanks to such joint initiatives, the path to recovery is filled not only with treatment, but also with moments of joy and warm memories.
