An award that united the hearts of donors and parents

I received the commemorative medal "For Selfless Service to the Motherland" – "With Ukraine in the heart".

Thank you to Vitaliy Klitschko and the Pechersk District State Administration in the city of Kyiv for their high trust.

I'll be honest, as the order from the Kyiv City State Administration – KSCA for the award was being read, I was moved, as if I was reliving the difficult story of supporting Illyusha.

The child went through more than one complex surgery on the brain and stomach, and for more than half a year, we have been living in the hospital with Valentyn Vetrov, the boy's father. I immensely value this award, which is of the people. After all, I received it at the initiative of the father of our Illyusha. He, like no one else, knows what it is to fight for a child's life and its cost.

Together with the doctors of NDSL Ohmatdyt, we gave the child a chance at life. And we believe that our Illyusha will soon go home healthy to his brothers and sisters.

In fact, this award is special – it is truly deep in my heart with gratitude to every philanthropist who contributes their part to saving children's lives.

Every day, I receive dozens of requests for help. At the same time, words of gratitude from families for the support of the little ones we managed to save together arrive daily.
